an amateur(ish) beginning

After only days ago being a flittering of an idea in the back of my mind, I’ve decided to have a go at launching this blog. My hope is that Amateur Theology can become a meeting place for ideas about God, where people can share their take on just about any area. And with a bit of luck we’ll be able to have some fun here too. I’m aiming for us to have a post up here every second day, but that might increase if submissions increase.

If you have anything you’d like to see discussed on Amateur Theology, please do compose a submission and send it to submissions@amateurtheology.org and we’ll almost certainly run it up here. From time to time I might even see if we can get submissions on a central theme, but that’s a little bit down the track. For the moment, watch what happens here, and hopefully this can become an encouragement to all who visit here.

    Geoff,
Is there a way of showing the author of the post? I think this would be really beneficial. If not, why not?

You spoke moments before the link was added Rebecca. Posts have now got the author’s name next to them. If you click on the person’s name, you’ll even see all the posts they’ve written.
